Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte Adopts-A-Day with Habitat for Humanity

January 12, 2010

On Sunday, January 10, 2010, Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte Adopted-A-Day with Habitat for Humanity in Charlotte, NC.  Everyone here wanted to give back to our great community.  We help people drive safely back and forth from work to home, but not everyone in Charlotte has a home.  That is why we decided to Adopt-A-Day to assist in the construction of a house with Habitat for Humanity.  Twenty-five of the Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte family volunteered to put up drywall throughout the entire house.  Everyone arrived at 1:00 PM with tool belts, hammers, pockets full of nails, and smiles on their faces.  We finished our fun and successful day just as the sun went down.  Thank You to Habitat for Humanity and all of the wonderful volunteers for helping our community grow stronger one home at a time.
